Frequently Asked Questions

Questions? Answered.

Everything about how HamiltonRC works, what it supports, and how memberships fit in.

What is HamiltonRC? +
HamiltonRC is a toolkit for RC racers that turns handling problems into specific setup changes. It pairs an AI tuning advisor with a setup-sheet builder and a tire selector, so you can diagnose, dial in, and document your car all in one place.
Which cars does it support? +
It's built for the Kyosho Inferno platform — MP11 and MP10 (nitro) and MP11e / MP10e (electric), including TKI3. The tuning logic applies broadly to 1/8 buggy, and more chassis are on the way. Read more about our roadmap.
Does it work for both nitro and electric? +
Yes. Pick your platform and the tools adapt — nitro gets engine, clutch, and pipe fields; electric gets ESC, motor, and battery fields — while the chassis tuning advice applies to both.
How does the AI tuning advice work? +
You tell it what the car is doing wrong — entry push, mid-corner stall, traction roll, bouncy landings — and it returns the changes to make in priority order, one variable at a time, with the reasoning behind each. It reads from your active setup so the advice fits the car you're actually running.
Do I need a data logger or telemetry? +
No. HamiltonRC works from what you can feel and see on track. There's no rig to install and no hardware to buy — just open it on your phone in the pits.
Can I save and share my setups? +
Yes. Build a setup sheet, save it, and export a clean PDF for the pit board. Each sheet has a Share toggle — leave it on to offer the setup to the community library (delivery to other racers is a Pro feature).
Is it free? +
The core tools are free forever — tuning advice, local setup sheets, PDF export, and the tire selector. Pro and Team memberships add the shared community setup library, cloud sync, and advanced multi-symptom tuning.
What do I get with a paid membership? +
Pro unlocks the shared community setup library, unlimited cloud-synced sheets across devices, advanced jump-and-bump diagnostics, and the ability to share your own setups globally. Team adds seats and a private library for your crew. See the full comparison.
How do I get started? +
Just launch the app — no install. Pick your car, build or load a setup, and start tuning. Create a free account to save sheets to the cloud.
